Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) - Knowledge of test methodologies, QA process, and software release cycle. Basic proficiency in writing and executing test cases. Good knowledge of Operating Systems and networking. Depending on group, programming proficiency (e.g. C, C++, Java, PERL) and understanding of automated test processes.
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, Experience) -BS degree or equivalent in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education. 0 – 2 years relevant work experience or applied coursework (including entry level).
