Job Description:
Assists in implementing and designing new methods, procedures and systems (both automated and manual) to improve the processing and flow of information within the company
Assists in developing the documentation of system specifications including system scripts, system backup, system installation procedures and recovery techniques and system test methods
Assists in developing benefit/cost analyses for the new proposed program methods, modifications and procedures.
Troubleshoots the basic network problems, monitors and evaluates the system performance. Analyzes, installs and configures applications as necessary
Establishes the basic operational databases, system interfaces and software configuration controls for computer systems assigned
Assists in maintaining the file servers and network access, analyzes and documents system anomalies to ensure the optimum equipment performance
Prepares the system for operational use and supports operational tests
Gathers the information from users for analysis of problem areas and prepares the elementary feasibility studies
Candidate Profile:
Candidates should possess Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science or any other related field is preferred
Should have zero or more years of systems development or systems analysis experience
Experience working with the appropriate operating systems, programming languages , software and hardware
Experience working with the relational databases to facilitate systems analysis
Other Skills:
Personal computer and business solutions software skills
Analytical and problem solving skills for the design, creation and testing of programs
Should have communication skills to interact with the team members and support personnel
Interpersonal skills to interact with the team members and customers
